TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
For these special alpaca yarn bracelets, I employed a crafting technique known as thread wrapping, which involves the careful and skilful wrapping of ethically-sourced alpaca yarn by hand around a cotton core to create a stunning design. This method allows for the exceptional softness and beauty of alpaca fleece to be showcased in a unique way.
Each bracelet is finished with a classic lobster and includes a 4 cm extension chain.
MATERIALS
– HAND-BLENDED BRITISH ALPACA yarn (100%)
– cotton cord
– stainless steel
SURGICAL STEEL
Surgical-grade stainless steel differs from alpaca or cheap metals in that it has a hypoallergenic formula. As opposed to silver or gold, it doesn’t need any maintenance, cleaning or special care, making it effortless to enjoy its beauty and gloss. Moreover, the surface is highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion, and the components do not develop unpleasant odours or tarnish over time.
PACKAGING
The item will be delivered in one of my pouches, with all packaging materials being eco-friendly and recycled, including the acid-free tissue paper and unbleached postal box.

However, my challenge is trying to get it on. I am not sure if it is because I am just p!ain uncoordinated, older and my hands don’t work the same way or if the clasp is hard to open and hook into a link at the same time. The chunky bracelet is so stylish and the colour is such a warm blue. Love the feel of the wool. It is soft. Not abrasive at all. The stainless steel cover is intricate. It is a little difficult to fasten, but I have worked out a way and now it is not a problem at all. It is in ifact a very different unique piece of jewellery. Packaged exclusively. Beautiful gift. The litte alpaca peg is a lovely touch.

This is a nice bracelet which arrived beautifully packaged, a really nice touch. The silver bead is lovely and I really like the colours which are true to the photo. Unfortunately, I have yet to wear it because I am finding it impossible to fasten and as I live alone, I can’t ask someone else to do it!
