I encourage my customers to remove their pieces before showering. There is a good chance that soaps, oils, shampoos, cosmetics in general, can cause a layer of build-up which can make a braid appear very dull or dirty over time.
Yes 🙂 Alpaca fibre is water-repellent. Please remember to dry the jewellery well before putting it into a drawer / pouch. However, I do not recommend showering or bathing in it due to the effect of cosmetics on the braid.
All metal parts are made of surgical stainless steel (or sterling silver when applicable). Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula and is suitable for allergy sufferers. Is not the same as alpaca or cheap metal. Unlike silver or gold, it does not require maintenance, cleaning and care, so you can enjoy its beauty and gloss without much effort. Yes, most bracelets can be made with a magnetic clasp. In this case, leave your wrist size in the "order notes" box when you checkout.
