TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
To make the bangles I used a Japanese braiding technique called kumihimo (“gathered threads”). It’s the time-consuming technique but results that can be achieved through it are stunning. A piece of wire inside braids makes the bangles flexible but keeps the shape so you can adjust them to your wrists.
The woman’s bangle is finished with caps and has an extension chain.
The man’s bangle is finished with magnetic clasps (non-adjustable).
SURGICAL STEEL
Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula. Surgical steel is not the same as alpaca or cheap metal!
PACKAGING
The bangles are packed in an eco-friendly craft box with jute and elegant black paper inside.
