TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
To create these earrings I used a technique known as thread wrapping. This technique consists of artfully wrapping alpaca yarn around a cotton core by hand. Thanks to this, the beauty and extraordinary softness of alpaca fleece are presented in a unique way.
Each earring is finished with surgical steel caps and a stud with a ball.
SURGICAL STEEL
Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula. Surgical steel is not the same as alpaca or cheap metal. Unlike silver or gold, it does not require maintenance, cleaning and care, so you can enjoy its beauty and gloss without much effort. The surface is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. The components don’t start to smell or tarnish after time!
PACKAGING
The earrings will arrive in one of my pouches. All the materials I use for packaging are environmentally friendly and recycled, from the acid-free tissue paper to the unbleached postal box it arrives in.
If you are wanting to send this directly as a gift then just fill in the ‘notes’ section at check out and I will leave the invoice out of the parcel and add a personalised message if you require.
