18 cm/7.1 in (braid + closed clasp)
Diameter: approx. 7 mm/0.3 in
TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
To make them I used a Japanese braiding technique called kumihimo (“gathered threads”). It’s the time-consuming technique but results that can be achieved through it are stunning. A piece of wire inside a braid makes the bangle flexible but keeps the shape so you can adjust it to your wrist. The unique pattern involves using a complex sequence of movement and constant concentration but the ending effect is worth it!
The bangle is finished with caps and has an extension chain.
Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula and it’s not the same as alpaca or cheap metal!
The bangle is packed in an eco-friendly craft box with jute inside. Perfect for a gift for the loved one.
