Maru Genji darling bracelet – petite

TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS

To make the bracelet I used a Japanese braiding technique called kumihimo (“gathered threads”).  It’s the time-consuming technique but results that can be achieved through it are stunning.  In this case, I applied the traditional Japanese pattern called Maru Gencji that impresses with its elegance and purity. A piece of wire inside a braid makes the bangle flexible but keeps the shape so you can adjust it to your wrist.

The bracelet is finished with caps and has an adjustable chain.
