TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
To make this unique bangle I used a Japanese braiding technique called Kumihimo (“gathered threads”). It’s the time-consuming technique but results that can be achieved through it are stunning. I used stainless steel wires as two of the twentieth strings. The wire makes the bangle flexible but keeps the shape so you can adjust it to your wrist.
The bangle is finished with a non-adjustable black magnetic clasp.
Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula. Surgical steel is not the same as alpaca or cheap metal! Unlike silver or gold, it does not require maintenance, cleaning and care, so you can enjoy its beauty and gloss without much effort. The surface is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. The components don’t start to smell or tarnish after time.
The bangle is packed in an eco-friendly craft box with jute inside. Perfect for a gift for the loved one.
